Following the success of their Star Wars and The Simpsons GPS voice packs, TomTom has launched a new series this week featuring the classic characters of the Looney Tunes cartoons. It begins this week with the release of Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam and continues throughout the autumn with Daffy Duck and Sylvester the cat in October and then Pepe Le Pew in November. Each pack costs $12.95 to download and includes signature music and sound effects. Although Mel Blanc, who created the voices, is no longer with us, Emmy award-winning voice actor Joe Alaskey is keeping them alive and serves up lines like this one for Yosemite - "Sharp left, ya humpbacked muley. Then go straight on. This ve-hicle ain’t big enough for the two of us!".
With Bugs you can expect a number of wisecracks. Here's an example of what he might say "Say doc, after 600 yards stay in the right lane. What's this rabbit's foot doin’ in the glove box?"
TomTom is also offering a selection of free alert sounds and wallpaper too. You can listen to the voices at http://www.tomtom.com/looneytunes
