The Blackberry Tour 9630 is launching today through Telus for $229.99 on a three-year contract and $599.99 without, and Bell for $249.95 on a three-year contract and $699.95 without. It's a 3G quad-band smartphone with QWERTY keyboard, 3.2 Megapixel still/video camera with geo-tagging, auto focus and flash, 1 GB of internal memory with 16 GB through a micro SD card slot, a 480 x 360 high resolution screen, and a built-in Facebook app.

 

In addition to today's Tour launch, Telus plans to also launch the HTC Touch Pro2 later this month (prices to be announced) which has a sliding 3.6" touchscreen and full QWERTY keypad. It runs Windows Mobile 6.1, includes 3G data speeds, 3.2 Megapixel still/video camera, and support for up to 16 GB of memory through its microSD card slot.

A second HTC handset will also launch through Telus later this month, the HTC Snap also runs Windows Mobile 6.1, offers 3G data speeds, a full QWERTY keyboard, up to 16 GB of storage through its microSD card slot, but just a 2 Megapixel still/video camera. Prices for the Snap are still to be announced.
