Expected to be released "soon", Research In Motion is hard at work at a new version of the operating system that powers their popular BlackBerry devices, one that will show a greater focus on touch screens and fluid navigation. The YouTube video released today offers a sneak peek at BlackBerry OS 6, with the floating white circles representing the tip of a user's finger to demonstrate the ease with which users can search through their content, play music, access Twitter, BlackBerry Messenger, and use two fingers to pinch and zoom for content like photos. The software will also bring a new web browser delivering a significantly upgraded browsing experience, including tabs. When will this be released? No word. What BlackBerry devices will use it? No word. Will it come with new BlackBerry phone designs? No hint yet. Everything is "coming soon."
