Montreal-based filmmaker Arev Manoukian delivers an intensely beautiful moment filled with mesmerizing effects in Nuit Blanche. Distributed by Toronto's Spy Films, best known for introducing District 9's Neil Blomkamp to the world, Nuit Blanche is set in the wet cobblestone streets of the 1950's where a man happens to catch the glance of a woman in a restaurant across the street.
