If plastic guitars and hard rock isn't your sort of thing then you might be interested in Easy Piano, an upcoming handheld game for the Nintendo DS that includes an add-on 8-key piano accessory. The educational game uses the full octave keyboard to take players both through the beginning lessons of learning how to play, as well as through 40 famous works from popular composers including Mozart and Beethoven as well as contemporary tunes such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Bittersweet Symphony, Every Breath You Take or simple songs like The Jingle Bells theme.

Designed by Game Life and set to be published in Europe and PAL regions this November, the software includes tutoring on correct fingering and will instruct players to access a full three octave range. Learning is done through ten lessons and a series of mini-games plus you can use the keyboard to create your own 3-minute compositions, working in other parts by using the keys to operate a simulated guitar and other instruments.

Unfortunately there's no plans at this time for a North American release.
