Shipping to stores today, Microsoft has created a new bundle that includes an Xbox 360 Elite (the one with a 120 GB hard drive) with two games; LEGO Batman: The Video Game and quad bike racer Pure for $299 CND.. For those who already have an Xbox 360, there's a second bundle launching in November that includes a black wireless controller and four Xbox Live Arcade games; Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2, Lumines Live!, Bomberman Live! and Ms Pac-Man for $69.99 CND.

Also launching for the Xbox 360 today is a free version of Fable II. Previously sold on disc, the game is now being divided into chapters and offered as a download over Xbox Live. The first chapter, in which you play the hero as a young child and must make decisions that set you off on a moral path, is available today. Over time Microsoft will release the rest of the game in additional chapters. Players who take on the game this way, will end up with the exact same experience as those who bought and played the game previously. Saved games created using the chapters will work with the retail disc copy of the game as well as the various expansions and add-ons that have been released over Xbox Live.
