Two excellent new search tools have been released by Google Labs. First up is Similar Images which uses image recognition to help you filter photo results from Google's Image Search. Using words to find pictures can be difficult when you have the ambiguity of the english language. When you typed in "Paris", were you searching for Paris Hilton or Paris France? A new link below the photo results helps you pick which meaning and can even be used to sort the arrangement of a photo, from pics of Brad and Angie where Brad is on the left or on the right. For Google News, they've added a new Timeline View that displays article results visually across a set of columns divided by days, helping you get a big picture view of how current events play out over the week.
