Those of you following my Twitter account know I received a mysterious box earlier this week that contained a number of G. I. Joe movie toys. With my Friday slowly winding down I thought I'd quickly shoot a video, just to show off the more electronic of the toys in the package as well as to explore the evolution of the line from its humble beginnings forty-five years ago. Featured is the 12" Snake Eyes Ninja Commando doll ($30 ages 4+), the Night Raven jet ($60, ages 4+) and the animatronic Accelerator Suit Duke figure ($120, ages 5+) which far exceeded my expectations as to what might have been inside that box. It's been a long journey since G. I. Joe first appeared in 1964 and if early reviews of the movie are any indication it still has quite an interesting future ahead of it.
