Well here's one of the items mentioned in Apple's WWDC keynote this week that you can start playing with now, for free too. Safari 4 is now out of beta and now available both for PC and Mac users. In addition to using a Cover Flow mode to help you browse your surfing history visually, a Top Sites gallery to give quick access to your most commonly-visited sites, and a full page zoom, the browser includes better handling of java scripts with its Nitro Engine, but more importantly is "crash resistant". According to Apple, the most common cause for browser crashes are plug-ins which help run animations and services like YouTube within the browser. With Safari 4, if these processes act up, they are isolated so that they don't effect the rest of the web page and cause the site to freeze. You can still navigate the page, just not see the animation or YouTube video. Simply reload to try again. I've been using Safari 4 Beta for some time now and find value from all of these features.
