Tired of having their local wi-fi network hijacked by bloggers in the audience, Apple has decided to offer a live streaming video feed of their next press conference, set for Wednesday, September 1st at 10 AM PST, 1 PM EST. Apple has traditionally supplied a complimentary wireless internet hotspot at their announcements so attending press can keep in contact with their editors and producers, but within the past year that connection has fallen to abuse as bloggers began to use it for their own video feeds, causing a great deal of interference during Apple's iPhone 4 event. Apple says everyone is free to tune in at their website, as long as you have a Mac with the Safari web browser, an iPod Touch or iPhone running iOS 3.0 or higher, or an iPad. If you don't have access to any of these options, I'll be in the audience posting details to my Twitter account which you can follow along to here.
