
Yes, the biggest selling game on the Atari 2600 was indeed Halo and it's back. Alright, that's not true, it was Pac-Man, but thanks to Ed Fries we can now pretend that's true and mix a little nostalgia for 80's with the very beginning of the Xbox. Fries has created a version of Microsoft's top franchise for the Atari 2600 that is pitch perfect. It's not a mash-up or a quick gag, there are 64 screens to make your way through. The game captures all the core elements of Halo's look, music, and gameplay but through the limitations of the cartridge-based system from late 70's and early 80's.
