Air Canada has released their own iPhone App today, one that will allow users to book, check-in, select seats, board a flight, and even arrange a car rental. Produced with IBM Toronto, the App is the first of its kind in North America, making Air Canada the first airline to offer such a mobile service. The free app is available today for the iPhone and iPod Touch and will allow passengers to receive updates on their flights, alerts for delays, and create a link to their electronic boarding passes. Other information includes the option to book a hotel, get updated gate information and even local weather conditions.
