Ah the thrill of the hunt. To walk into an interesting store and scan the tables for that one image, that one idea that stands out amongst the black thread piles with imaginative fanfare. Here I present to you all the shirts I found for App Central. With the launch of a new television series I decided it’d be fun to wear a different shirt for each episode and being Canadian to focus my choices on local artists.

There’s no paid considerations, no product placement deals here. I went hunting for cool threads using my Geek cash as normal and only chose items that stood out to me. I hope it’s made our show more interesting for you and if you’re a shirt hunter too, that the contacts below prove very rewarding too.

By the way, I'm still on the hunt. If you know of a cool designer I've overlooked you can contact me at krisabel@gmail.com or through Twitter and Facebook.

App Central airs weekly on Tuesdays at 8/10pm on BNN, Saturdays at 5:30pm on CTV, Sundays at 10:30am on CP24, and Mondays at 7:30pm on CP24.

So this one requires a bit of an explanation. Eikon is a tattoo power supply manufacturer based in Kingston, Ontario and they held a contest amongst their fans to design a T-shirt for the company. They told me it was by a local artist, but I've since checked and the artist is Daniel Argote from Florida. (his design is of a hamster-powered power supply). So technically not a Canadian artist, but at least a Canadain company's shirt. (and a cool one).
