This past weekend the Canadian Toy & Hobby Fair delivered another fun showcase of new toys for the coming year. Sadly I could only spend a few hours at this year's fair, but in appreciation for the enthusiasm and kind comments of LEGO fans from around the world, who visited my blog last year in overwhelming numbers, I made sure to pay a visit to LEGO Canada and this time I photographed every set on display. This year LEGO has shown some wonderful innovation with the introduction of a new series of board games, each made of bricks so they can be "built" to create different board designs.

This is also the year that Disney and Pixar characters join the LEGO world and we get to see a new world rise up out of the ocean with Atlantis.

Keep in mind that what you see here are prototypes and mock-ups. LEGO is still working out the final detailing on the models and so at launch there may be subtle differences. Due to the sheer number of photographs involved here, I won't be able to offer too much detail, but promise to post what I can.

Not included are any sets from the upcoming Harry Potter release. LEGO didn't have any mock-up boxes or prototype sets, but they will be releasing kits both for the Hogwarts Castle, the Hogwarts Express train, and other elements from that world.
