Google has launched an historical photo archive in collaboration with LIFE magazine that will give free public access to over 10 million photos dating as far back as the 1750's. Currently at launch they have only 20% of the colection uploaded online with the rest due to be added in time. The collection will include digitized versions of slides, negatives, etchings, even daguerreotypes and if you see an image you like you can even order a print of it through LIFE. Some Canadian imagery includes the Queen’s Tour Of Canada and Jacquelline Kennedy’s Canadian visit.
