School uniforms have been given a touch of cool. Marks & Spencer in the United Kingdom has launched a line of school blazers with built-in iPod controls through their Stormwear label. The jackets have been modified to include a hidden iPod pocket with dock and circuit to map the controls with touch sensitive ones built into the fabric. Lapel loops help you keep your earbuds handy and the fabric itself has been treated to repel water and resist stains. As far as I know these are not available here in North America and the other question would be which schools would allow them to be worn by students?
