”LiveAutographs"LiveAutographs offers an interesting new twist to the lucrative market of celebrity autographs. For a fee, you can write and send in your own message to be read into a camera by a celebrity while they offer you a greeting and sign their autograph onto a piece of memorabilia as purchased by you from an online shop. It's the same experience enjoyed by countless fans at conventions and expos around the world, the difference is that you don't have to deal with the hassle of the crowds and while you may not be meeting said celebrity in person, you are getting a video from them to keep. The list of celebrities involved is surprising; the cast of Lost, Raven-Simone, Buzz Aldrin, Ted Nugent, and Steve Austin amongst others. The cost is high, $130 for a signed photo from Battlestar Galactica's Tricia Helfer, but then this is a service intended for those who are willing, actually demanding, to pay. Is it right? Shouldn't autographs be free? In the case of the cast from Lost, all proceeds go to charity, so there's that.
