The internet has played home to some fantastic hoaxes and fakes. Qashqai Car Games is one of the most impressive. The fake website and CG-enhanced videos pretend to document the growth of a new daredevil, exrtreme racing sport called the Qashqai Car Games where an international collection of drivers speed their cars off of 100-foot ramps to perform the kind of aerial acrobatics normally reserved for skateboarders. If you find the main website hard to navigate, you'll find the videos easier to access here. Featuring phony news broadcasts and underground camcorder clips, the website documents the start of the sport in Germany, the deaths and injuries it has caused, and the subsequent banning of the sport in Britian followed by the illicit meetings of drivers as they try to continue their dangeors stunts. Just to make it clear once again, the whole thing is a fake, the videos have been enhanced by computer-generated effects, it is a secret advertisment comissioned by Nissan to draw attention to one of their European car models.
