Satellite A-100Toshiba Canada has issued a recall this afternoon for batteries sold as part of their notebook computers here in Canada between March and May of this year. The recall effects a batch of batteries used in their Satellite A-100, M70, M100, and Tecra A6, A7 models. The recall also effects a number of batteries sold as accessories. The concern is over batteries that will not take a charge or work. There is no concern regarding the kind of overheating and explosions related to the Dell and Apple recalls from earlier this summer.
