Scott Walker, Assistant Editor of the Birmingham News has taken a newspaper delivery box and has upgraded it with an LCD screen and a Mac Mini computer. The result is a Digital newstand that sits in his house and automatically displays the morning headlines. He's programmed it to connect to his desktop computer, grab the digital version of the day's paper, and then display it on the delivery box's screen as a viewable slideshow, complete with background music.
