Protagonize is a newly luanched collaborative fiction community built around the idea of creating interactive stories designed around the popular Choose Your Own Adventure format. Members gather and work together to write the stories, each helping to take the adventure off into new paths that follow different decisions chosen by online readers. Already there's a growing database of adventures spread across many genres including mystery, horror, science fiction, as well as more unusual categories such as taboo, chick lit, and erotica. Online readers can rate and write comments about the adventures which, being digital and online, and themselves updated repeatedly over time.
