Sleep.FMis a new social network built around the idea of letting your friends or family record the alarm on your alarm clock, to have your daughter or long-distance relatives surprise you in the morning with a personal message. In their demonstration video (see below), they show a soldier overseas waking first to a loud buzzing alarm from his computer that is quickly followed by a fresh recording of his wife and kids back home, giggling and offering freindly thoughts. It's a fantastic idea, perhaps not worth trying to create the next FaceBook with, but simply as a service, a very original one.
