The State of California is celebrating a weak and very frustrating victory in the area of privacy this week. While they have managed to get Apple, Google, RIM, Microsoft, Amazon, and Hewlett-Packard to sign an agreement stating that all apps should include a privacy policy to protect consumers, the legal deal doesn’t require any of the companies to actually enforce the decision.
