”Ratchet Quest For Booty is a mini-adventure, a $15 game not available through stores but only as a download through the PlayStation 3’s online service. As short as it may be, it will only take a night or two to complete, the game offers the same robust experience in terms of its gameplay and cut-scenes as the full length Ratchet & Clank titles. There’s platforms to jump, enemies to battle, traps to avoid, puzzles to solve, and full-scale battles to survive, all while off-beat characters deliver silly jokes and moments of dry wit. It’s more of what fans of the series enjoy and all there will be to tie them over until the next full-length adventure arrives in late 2009. [More]

”CasualWith most of the puzzle rooms I showcase each Friday, the task is to simply find the hidden items and use them in the right order, but in Casual Gameplay Escape you will be confronted with a serious set of puzzles, each designed to be their own casual game. There are no items to find, no coloured tiles to collect, and no secret spots to click on, to escape you'll need to solve the puzzles themselves. Good luck. [More]

”TheYou are a Wolpertinger and your best friend Kaes, a kind of meatloaf, has been kidnapped by the meat-mafia in order to discover his recipe, so you must set out across fantastic lands to save him. The Adventures of Tinger is a robust platform game where you must use your arrow keys and spacebar to run and jump over billy goats and up into trees to collect coins and other items. With a sausage-gun you can also shoot enemies instead of jumping on their heads. You can load the susage gun with a variety of ammunition and pick up special hot sauces for new skills. It's a fun game with a great sense of humour and well-drawn cast of characters. [More]

Cyberstein Robots is a U.K.-based company that produces large-scale robotic characters for exhibitions and special events. Titan, for example, is an eight foot-tall monstrousity that, as you can see in the video below, inspires people to run for their lives on sight. In addition to prowling fair grounds for people to greet, he also has his own show full of laughs and special effects. He can perform anywhere in the world, but not in the rain, apparently his one big weakness. Check out their website for a full gallery of photos and videos.

”BlackBerry The BlackBerry Bold is not, as some have hyped, an attempt by Research In Motion to respond to perceived threats from Apple’s iPhone 3G, nor is it an attempt to reinvent the cellphone or its role in the industry, but rather an effort to create the best BlackBerry possible, to take the design and concept that we are all very familiar with and produce a model with the best possible components, materials, and features. It’s a phone that could easily have been launched as part of an anniversary, to serve as a reminder of the company’s legacy, and will no doubt leave their engineers free to create the more experimental and risky designs needed to meet the industry’s current changes moving forward. ”Wiclimo"Like all good puzzles, Tony Pa’s Wiclimo begins with a very simple concept; just move your mouse cursor over the right shapes in the right order. Watch the white bar on the upper right, as you touch the right shape, it'll shrink, as you touch the wrong one, it'll grow. there's other clues as well. Sounds easy? It's not, it's very tricky. ”ThroughBreak out your headphones, Through My Ears is a blog devoted to offering audio adventures using binaural clips recorded using special equipment that capture the spatial quality of sound. It's recommended that you listen to them with a set of stereo headphones. There's a rain from Puerto Vallarta, fieworks, a game of horseshoes, even a trip to the Long Beach Aquarium. Thanks to the virtual simulation of the clips, you get tohear exactly what blogger Richard G. hears. [More]
